How to make beeswax foundation sheet
The base of the nest is the base of the artificial bee nest house. It is divided into two types: worker honeycomb foundation and male honeycomb foundation, which are made of beeswax or non-toxic plastic and other materials, and pressed by a nest foundation machine or a flat nest foundation stamper.
(1) The type of nest foundation shall be based on specifications, purposes, manufacturing methods and applicable bee species.
(2) The process of manufacturing the nest foundation. To manufacture the nest foundation, you need to prepare a calender, a nest foundation machine, a wax melting pot, a wax filter, and a double dip wax pot-set. Four wax dipping plates, one stripping slot, four wax clip holders, one base cutter, one base plate, a 5 mm thick glass plate, a thermometer, a soft brush, a wax spoon, and wax paper Wait. The process of making nest foundation can be divided into five processes: wax melting, dipping, stamping, cutting, and packaging.
(1)Melting wax. Crush the pure beeswax, put it in a wax melting pot, add 1/4~1/3 of water according to the size of the pot, heat it to melt into a wax liquid, and control the temperature of the wax liquid within 100°C. Then put the wax liquid at rest to fully precipitate the impurities, then pour the clarified wax liquid into the double pot of the dip sheet.
(2) Dip film. The water temperature of the outer pot of the double pot should be kept at about 80℃, and the temperature of the wax liquid in the inner pot should be kept at 68~75℃. Insert the wax-dipped board into the wax liquid vertically, and after removing it, wait for the wax to set slightly. Then insert it into the wax liquid and repeat 3~-4 times. Put the wax-dipped board into a stripping tank with a water temperature of 25~30°C. The wax chips will automatically be removed from the board and can be printed after trimming.
(3)Rolling and printing. Wax pieces should be printed while hot or soaked in warm water to preheat. After the wax pieces are soft inside and outside, they are sent to the calender. During the rolling process, they should be continuously brushed on the roller of the calender. Sexual soapy water to lubricate the wheel.
(4) Cutting. Wash off the soapy water attached to the base of the nest with clean water, wait for it to dry, place it on the glass plate, align the base of the nest with the nest house, and roll the knife against the base of the nest along the four sides.
(5) Packaging. Use wax paper to separate the bases of every two nests and pack them in a stack of 30 sheets.
