Brushing the spleen with formic acid can eliminate more than 90% of bee mites. Wear gloves and protect them during use. Formic acid is a colorless and transparent liquid. The prepared 55% formic acid is brushed to seal the cover. Be careful to only brush the cover. Wet the cover back and forth. If there are male hives, you can brush a few more times.

After brushing, gently shake the inside of the spleen. The occluded droplets were used to detect bee mites mortality on the caps the next day. This is more than 90% of the mortality rate of bee mites in a large bee farm.
