1. Straw

The thickness of the insulation can also be selected according to your own needs. Specifically: you can choose 3cm thick foam. Place them on the bottom, front, back, and left sides of the beehive, and fix them with transparent tape to ensure that the beehive sand king and the large cover can be properly covered without leaking the bees. Foam can also be used many times, repeatedly used, and it is relatively simple to manage. It is also a good choice to use foam as a material for winter beehive insulation.
3. Covering
Covering cloth is also a commonly used thermal insulation material. It can keep warm and prevent heat. It can effectively organize the rapid heat dissipation of the bee colony. It can also be lower than the cold air at the top and upper edge of the beehive. When the weather is hot, the cover cloth can It can effectively prevent the large amount of heat received by the top box cover from entering the beehive; at the same time, the covering can effectively prevent external light from penetrating into the box from the top. Avoid the bee colony from disrupting normal life due to the light on the top.
