World Bee Day
The origin of World Bee Day:
May 20th happened to be the birthday of Slovenian Anton Jansha. As early as the 18th century, Anton Jansha took the lead in adopting modern beekeeping technology in the motherland of Slovenia, and praised the quality of bees “hard work and loneliness”

The meaning of World Bee Day:
1. Remind the world's public and political decision makers to pay attention to the importance of protecting bees;
2. Let people realize that we rely on bees and other pollinators;
3. Protect bees and other pollinators because they greatly help solve problems related to the global food supply and help eliminate hunger in developing countries;
4. To curb the further loss of biodiversity and ecosystem degradation, thereby helping to achieve the sustainable development goals.

What can each of us do on World Bee Day:
1. Set aside areas in natural habitats;
2. Build a fence;
3. Reduce or change the use of pesticides;
4. Set aside a nesting habitat; and plant attractive crops around the farmland.
