How To Extinguish The Smoker
- fill the smoker with water
OR
- find a bare patch of soil
-empty the smoker contents onto theground
-liberally douse with water from your watercontainer
-make sure there are no lighted embers thatcould blow away and cause a fire
OR
- dig a small hole
-empty the smoker contents into the hole
-fill the hole with dirt.
Clean the hive tool and smoker
-stir the hive tool in the hot embers of thesmoker
-scrape the hive tool clean in the soil toremove particles of wax
- wash the hive tool in soapy water
-wash the smoker bellows in soapy water.
