Do you know the five important functions of bee water harvesting?
In addition to collecting honey and honey, bees also have a particularly important role in collecting water. Water harvesting is a very important job. Let’s talk about the five main functions of bee water harvesting.

First, quench your thirst. Any animal can't live without water, but bees often drink dew, and many beekeepers use this feature to catch wild bees.
Second, dilute the honey. Mature honey has very low moisture, and the pollen is very dry. The bees collect moisture to dilute the honey to a certain concentration, and then mix it with the pollen to form the food needed by the bees to survive.
Third, build a nest. Only when the water is sufficient, the bee's mouth can build the beeswax into a bee spleen.

Fourth, adjust the humidity of the beehive. The survival of bees requires a suitable temperature, and some of the water will evaporate during the process of honey production. However, in relatively dry seasons, regions, or when the amount of honey stored is small, it is not enough to rely on the water evaporated from these honeys. Therefore, the bees will collect water from the outside to adjust the humidity of the beehive.
Fifth, adjust the temperature. When the weather is hot, the bee colony will maintain the beehive at a suitable temperature by means of fan and other activities. At high temperatures, the bees will collect water and sprinkle water to humans to degrade the temperature of the beehive.
