What are the techniques for beekeeping?
1.Feeding: Feeding is a key technology that must be mastered in bee breeding, which can be roughly divided into two types: subsidy feeding and reward feeding. Among them, subsidy feeding is to supplement the necessary food for the survival of bees, while reward feeding is to stimulate the queen bee to lay eggs and the worker bee to feed larvae.

2.Apiary separation: Apiary separation is the most important way for bees to expand their population. It can be roughly divided into two types: natural separation and artificial separation. In small-scale Chinese bee culture, bees are generally allowed to naturally separate bees, while Italian bee culture and large-scale Chinese bee culture mostly use artificial separation.

3. Referral: Refers to the introduction of a new queen for a non queen colony. It is inevitable that the colony will lose its queen accidentally in the bee production. At this time, it is necessary to introduce a new queen bee to the colony. In addition, when the bee farm introduces other queens, it is also necessary to use the referral technology to involve the queen bee in the colony.
4. Merging: Merging refers to merging two or more colonies into a group. For example, in early spring, two or more weak colonies can be manually merged into a relatively strong production colony. In addition, when the colony loses its kingship and has no value of grouping separately, it can also be merged into other royal colonies.

5. Disease prevention: disease prevention and control is a skill that beekeepers must master. Once a bee colony has outbreaks of diseases and insect pests, those with minor pests will directly affect the efficiency of beekeeping. In serious cases, it may lead to the demise of the bee colony or even affect the whole bee population. In fact, many beekeeping failures are caused by inadequate disease prevention and control.
